Facilities

St. Rita Retreat Center offers simple, comfortable spaces designed for quiet reflection and group retreats. The property includes a historic friary, a guest house for overnight stays, and wooded grounds with trails and outdoor prayer spaces.

Cozy room with round tables, chairs, floral centerpieces, a lit fireplace with a crucifix above, bookshelves, and wooden ceiling beams.

The Friary

The original building, once home to Augustinian priests, now serves as the central gathering space for retreats. The friary includes the main dining hall, kitchen, and a small chapel. The dining hall comfortably hosts group meals and meetings, and during cooler months the fireplace creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Both the hall and chapel can be used for group sessions and breakout gatherings.

The Guest House

The guest house provides overnight accommodations for up to 30 retreatants. Fifteen private rooms each include two single beds, a desk, and a private bathroom with walk-in shower. Many rooms include a balcony or small patio overlooking the surrounding hills. Two rooms are accessible. The guest house also contains a meeting room with comfortable seating and a small raised stage with an altar suitable for Catholic Mass.

The Grounds

Sixty-three wooded acres surround the retreat center, offering quiet places for reflection and prayer. The grounds include walking trails, outdoor Stations of the Cross, a grotto gathering area with a stage, and a Chartres-style labyrinth. Throughout the property, small shrines and natural spaces invite visitors to slow down and reconnect.
