What is a FAQ
A frequently asked question
When is the final balance due?
The full balance is due at the beginning of the retreat unless prior arrangements have been made.
How is our reservation confirmed?
Your reservation is confirmed once we receive your completed and signed contract along with the required deposit.
What information should group leaders include in an inquiry?
Please include your preferred date range, estimated group size, goals of the retreat, general schedule needs, and any accessibility considerations.
How far in advance should we book a retreat?
We recommend contacting us as early as possible to discuss preferred dates. Availability varies by season and group size.

Staying at St Rita's

What to expect during your retreat, including accommodations, daily logistics, and on-site support.

How many guests can the Center accommodate?
Capacity depends on the event type. Maximum overnight and commuter limits will be specified in your contract.
Can guests extend their stay?
Extensions may be possible depending on availability. Please check with the manager in advance.
Are linens provided?
Professionally laundered sheets and pillowcases are provided at check-in. Sleeping bags and similar items are not permitted in guest rooms.
What should guests bring?
Retreatants should bring their own towels and personal toiletries. Basic bedding is provided.
What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in and check-out times are confirmed during scheduling. Please include early arrival or late departure requests in your inquiry.

Policies

Important guidelines regarding cancellations, use of the property, and retreat expectations.

Are campfires allowed?
No. Campfires are not permitted due to fire risk and local regulations.
Can the Center cancel an event?
Yes. In cases of severe weather, fire danger, unsafe smoke levels, or hazardous conditions, the Center may cancel for safety reasons. Deposits will be fully refunded in such cases.
What is your group cancellation policy?
Cancellation more than 90 days before the event entitles you to a 50% refund of your deposit. Cancellation within 90 days forfeits the deposit.

Who do we contact during our stay if we need assistance?
You may contact the retreat manager directly for assistance during your stay. Contact information will be provided in your retreat materials.
What about wildlife?
The property is located in a natural environment where wildlife may be present. Guests assume risks associated with being in a natural setting.
Is the property accessible?
The Center is located on a hillside with a half-mile driveway at a steep incline. Three accessible parking spaces are available near the Guest House.

Food & Dietary Needs

Details about meal service, dietary accommodations, and food-related policies.

Can guests bring their own food?
Guests may bring additional food if needed. However, retreat fees are not discounted if guests choose not to eat provided meals.
Do you cook with nuts?
We do not cook with tree nuts. Peanut butter may occasionally be served. Please inform us of any severe nut allergies.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
We do our best to accommodate gluten-free and lactose-intolerant guests. However, we cannot guarantee that every item will be free of those ingredients.

Is parking limited?
Yes. Parking is limited, and groups of 25 or more are required to have a carpool plan in place.
