Steep Driveway Note

The retreat center is located on a hillside with a half-mile driveway at a steep incline.

Please drive slowly and use caution, especially during wet or icy conditions.

Seasonal Access

In winter weather or periods of heavy smoke from regional fires, access to the property may be limited for safety reasons.

If conditions require changes to your scheduled stay, we will communicate directly with your group contact.

Parking Overview

Parking at St. Rita’s is limited.

We encourage carpooling for all groups, and groups of 25 or more are required to have a carpool plan in place.

Parking areas include:
– 16 regular spaces and 3 accessible spaces near the Guest House
– 12 additional spaces in the lower lot.

Parking is permitted on paved areas only. This helps reduce fire risk and ensures access for emergency vehicles.

Carpool Expectation

For larger retreats, we recommend assigning one or two group members to help direct traffic during arrival.

Pre-assigning rooms before guests arrive will also reduce congestion near the Conference Room entrance.

Clear arrival planning allows your retreat to begin without unnecessary stress.

Large Vehicle Guidance

Extended cab trucks, long-bed vehicles, and similar larger vehicles must park in the lower lot.

The upper drive was not designed for larger vehicles and must remain clear for emergency access.
